The company was started in 1928 Edwin James Bramble and is still owned and run by the Bramble family, but has since grown and diversified to become a leading Self Drive Hire Company with a large fleet of vehicles available for light and moderate residential and commercial use.
The extensive Bramble Van Rental fleet includes standard Transit Vans as well as Long Wheel Base (LWB) Transit Vans, Luton Box Vans, Lutons with Tail Lifts and Cargo Trucks.

Transit Vans are available from £24 for 3 hours, inclusive of 100 free miles. For 24 hours the cost is £45 and also includes 100 free miles. For a 7 day hire, the cost is £175, including 700 free miles. Excess mileage is charged at 5 pence per mile.

A similar pricing structure applies to LWB Transit Vans, with the same free mileage and time-scale, while the hire costs are £34, £59 and £245 respectively, with an excess mileage charge of 7 pence per mile. Depending on your needs a standard Luton Van can be hired on exactly the same plan.
Luton Vans with tail lifts are available for 24 hour periods for £69 and, by the week, for £265. 100 free miles are included for a 24 hour period and 700 for the 7 day period. 7 pence is charged per mile for excess mileage.

A 7.5 ton Cargo Box Truck with tail lift is also available from £135 for a 24 hour hire or for £495 for 7 days. For the 24 hour hire, 300 miles are included while 1200 miles are included for a 7 day hire. Excess mileage is charged at 8 pence per mile and a valid C1 Driver's Licence is required.

A deposit of £250 is required for the hire of transit vans and a deposit of £500 for the hire of 7.5 ton cargo truck. Deposits will be refunded in full as long as the vehicle is returned undamaged.
This deposit applies to drivers aged 25 to 69 in possession of the required British Driving Licence which must have been held for 2 years.
Younger drivers, aged 21 to 25, may be accepted, although a larger deposit and a clean driving licence will be required. Prices include both VAT and insurance.
